Adult Education

18 “You shall therefore lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and you shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19 You shall teach them to your children, talking of them when you are sitting in your house, and when you are walking by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.”                                                    Deuteronomy 11:18-19

At Faith Lutheran Church we encourage all of our members to be actively involved in Bible Study and Daily Devotions. Various opportunities for study and discussion are offered as well as numerous resources.

Bible StudyAdult Bible Study
is typically held on Thursdays at 10:30 am. Occasionally additional venues, dates, and times are chosen. Recent studies have included The Bible in 90 Days, Psalms, John, Confronting Death: A Christian Approach to the End of Life, and The 13 Apostles.

The current study in Adult Bible Study is the letters of Paul.

Book Discussions
are typically held once a month. After reading the Book of the Month, members gather to discuss the relevant topics and share individual opinions or views.

Book DiscussionsRecent books of interest include The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, Amish Grace, Under the Overpass and The Color of Rain.

Adult faith formation
follows the Sunday morning worship service. Currently, adult formation is focusing on the principal tenets of the Christian faith in the Lutheran tradition and is a great opportunity to ask those questions you were always afraid to ask.

Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School 4Each summer the children look forward to a week of Vacation Bible School. Relevant Bible stories that proclaim the love of Jesus Christ are enhanced with music, crafts, games, and snacks.

Currently we are the only church in the Three Lakes community to host Vacation Bible School. As such, we invite all children in the community to join us.

Additionally, a Half-day Bible School is organized once or twice a year covering topics such as Water/Baptism or Holy Week.
